Our research team primarily focuses on the connection between operations and information management strategies and ESG/CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). In the environmental context, we have studied how business operations are affected by the negative impacts of climate change-related natural disasters. We've also explored how different corporate strategies, such as CSR or innovation, can mitigate the adverse effects of these disasters. Additionally, we've examined the motivations behind companies adopting environmentally friendly operational strategies, including research into the premiums generated by pollution reduction efforts or customer demands for environmental sustainability, aiming to encourage businesses to reduce their environmental footprint. In the realm of social responsibility, our research delves into issues concerning stakeholders, such as labor exploitation, and proposes fundamental solutions rather than solely punitive measures. Finally, within the domain of corporate governance, we investigate cases where companies conceal irresponsible behaviors due to lack of transparency and provide policy recommendations to enhance corporate governance transparency, thereby reducing the risks associated with irresponsible corporate behavior.
